Widgie Nickel Limited ACN 648 687 094 (Widgie Nickel or the Company) has lodged a prospectus dated 19 August 2021 (Prospectus) with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) in connection with a non-renounceable pro rata entitlement offer (Offer) of fully paid ordinary shares in the Company (Shares), a copy of which is available on this website. Free paper copies of the Prospectus are also available upon request.

Capitalised terms used on this website have the meaning given to them in the Prospectus.

Lodgement and listing

The Prospectus is dated 19 August 2021 (Prospectus Date) and was lodged with ASIC on that date.

The Company will apply to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) within seven days after the Prospectus Date for admission of the Company to the Official List and quotation of its Shares on ASX. None of ASIC, ASX nor any of their respective officers takes any responsibility for the contents of the Prospectus or the merits of the investment to which the Prospectus relates.

Exposure Period

The Corporations Act prohibits the Company from processing Applications in the seven day period after the Prospectus Date (Exposure Period). The Exposure Period may be extended by ASIC by up to a further seven days. The purpose of the Exposure Period is to enable the Prospectus to be examined by market participants prior to the raising of funds. The examination of the Prospectus may result in the identification of deficiencies in the Prospectus and, in those circumstances, any application that has been received may need to be dealt with in accordance with section 724 of the Corporations Act. Applications received during the Exposure Period will not be processed until after the expiry of the Exposure Period. No preference will be conferred on Applications received during the Exposure Period.
